Our activities in France

With to our international expertise and our unique knowledge of the French market, we are committed to contributing to the development of renewable energies in France.

More than 60 people are fully dedicated to the French offshore wind tenders for which RWE is pre-qualified: A06, AO7 et AO8.

The Group's commitment is a long-term one, pending the next calls for tender in 2024 and 2025.

Protecting biodiversity

Preserving the environment is a priority for RWE. We are committed to minimising the impact of our activities on marine biodiversity. Our approach includes in-depth environmental studies, measures to protect flora and fauna, and the use of ecosystem-friendly technologies.

We work actively to avoid, reduce or compensate for any impact that offshore wind turbines may have on the marine ecosystem.

Cooperation with other users of the sea

With more than 20 years of experience in the construction of offshore wind farms in areas of high population density, RWE is well aware of the importance of the sea as a shared space.

We work closely with other users of the sea, such as the fishing, shipping, boating and tourism industries, to ensure that our activities are sustainable and that the interests of all users of the sea are respected.
