Innovations

RWE places innovation at the heart of its strategy.

Research and development play a key role at RWE in anticipating emerging challenges in the industry.

Over the years, our teams have implemented numerous innovative projects transforming potential obstacles into concrete opportunities. From recyclable blades to the use of AI and new foundation technologies, each project contributes to our goal of more sustainable and efficient offshore wind energy production.

Recyclable blades

RWE is using recyclable blades produced by Siemens Gamesa on several of its offshore wind farms. The aim is to expand the use of this process.

This step marks a key milestone in the sustainability of offshore wind farms, confirming RWE's role as a pioneer in the offshore wind industry.
